We have just returned from a week in Liverpool with mum, followed by a week in Carmarthen looking after Ifan, Aron and Seren for four of those days and also Georgia and Chloe for the weekend, whilst Lisa was taken on a surprise trip to Jersey to celebrate her 40th birthday. That very fact makes me feel old and also makes me realise there is still a lot of the world to see before we end up losing the inclination to travel.
When we arrived home from Wales our tickets for our forthcoming trip were sat on the doormat. Suddenly it seems real and with only 16 days to get ourselves organised I think we'd best get started.
